forgive or forget

I was thinking.. the other day... why dont people realize that its a waste of time to intentionally cause drama or problems for another person. Its a waste of time to hate, to be negative...

And I was thinking... that I really wish things would have worked out differently between us, because I miss the friendship we once had. I thought I had a good friend by my side, I guess I was wrong. I made mistakes because I'm not perfect.. but I know how to forgive (unless they fuck you over so many times that you start not to care.)

It crossed my mind to try and set things straight with him and just let him know that none of what happened was my fault.. all the lies, the misunderstandings, the negativity and the drama that people around us caused. I wouldn't expect for us to be friends again but at least I would feel like I did my part.

But then I thought.. why should I even bother, when he doens't even seem the slighest bit sorry. How can you forgive someone that doens't ask for forgiveness?.. you can't. Nothing left to do but forget and move on.. :/
